Milo in2CRICKET
Cricket Australia have been involved in getting kids into cricket for a long time. In 2008 they launched a new phase in their game development plans with the Milo in2CRICKET website. Aimed fairly and squarely at younger children the website was developed extensively using Adobe Flash. By doing so the site becomes much more attractive to children, with zooming buttons, animated backgrounds and cartoon styled navigation.The site has many games and sections for children to explore and four different themes which help keep the interest levels high. As well as the "kids" section there are also areas for parents of participants and those involved in running the program. Additionally the Flash based components talk with existing Cricket Australia systems to allow for parents to easily locate their nearest Milo in2CRICKET centre.
Highly publicised by Cricket Australia during the summer cricket season on both television and radio, the site is sure to have made a big impact in helping grow the next generation of Australian cricket stars.
